Winter the time of rest and hibernation, when nature retreats to build up its reserves for its next cycle of seasons and yet, at the same time, maintain enough vitality not to become too heavy and lethargic.
In Āyurveda, winter is Kapha season. When Kapha is in balance, it offers us nourishment, solidity, and groundedness. However, we can become heavy, lethargic, greedy, and clingy when Kapha is out of balance.
Participants will delve into restful practices to support you during winter—chant soothing mantras to awaken all the cells and feed our bellies with homemade warming winter foods.
Allow yourself to be held in the warm embrace that Ray Of Light offers.

" Thank you for a beautiful retreat, Rachel.
I loved the focus on mantra, and chanting and it was very special to sit in a circle with beautiful women. Really needed to re-connect with the essence of yoga. I feel exactly like the title of the retreat - whole and filled with so much more love."
