Loved this quite a friend shared, can you relate ?
"Imagine 5 years or so ago, when your breath was only something you so desperately grasped onto as you punished your body for simply existing. Imagine telling that version of yourself that each breath could transport you to a state of awe as you feel each cell of your body vibrates with life or that an exhale could create spaciousness, a melting into what is...imagine if she’d known what it was like to breathe”.

Please join Rachel in her quest to share and demystify these valuable and effective practices of prāṇāyāma. We will immerse in-person to experience an uplifting combination of practice, techniques, and the principles of prāṇāyāma.
Yoga students, you are invited to join us on the 28th + 29th, where you will deepen your personal Pranayama practice, and understanding of this ancient energetic Practice. Diving into the history of this practice, and understanding the power it has on our vitality.
Yoga Teachers, you are invited to join us for the Friday all the way through to the Monday. Where you’ll will gain a deeper understanding of the hows and the whys of prāṇāyāma so that you can confidently lead specific breath classes and expand this into your current classes and offerings. You will refine and expand your ability to design and teach a well-thought-out and effective prāṇāyāma practice with a particular intention in mind.
Please note:
Friday + Monday will be dedicated to Teachers,
Saturday + Sunday will be for students and Teachers.
As Rachel’s teacher, Dr. Chandrasekaran, says, “Every technique in Yoga is like clay. Whatever product comes out of a lump of clay is entirely in the hand of the potter. In the same way, whatever effect comes out of a Yoga technique is entirely in the hands and teaching methodology of the teacher.”
In this course, you will gain a deeper understanding of the classical prāṇāyāmas as taught in the Krishnamaracya tradition. We will chant and reflect on Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras, some quotes from the Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, Bhairava Tantra, and Bhagavad Gītā. These ancient texts invite us into the symbolism, intention, and results of a committed prāṇāyāma practice.
